SHIMADA Sayaka
Born in Tokyo, Japan.
Graduates from Department of Cinema, College of Art, Nihon University.
After graduation, She started to work at design office of Tomio Mohri ,art director.
Her works theme is 'identity crisis' and are made under motif of unconscious and body.
Inspired by fireworks in 2000, she started to work at a Fireworks company, Marutamaya Co.,Ltd. where she made video works and music.
'Fireworks guitar machine' (Movie Performance) and 'Hikage' (Installation) which are related to fireworks.
In 2005, she participated in an exhibition 'Tokyo Eizo Brig' and in 2006,she participated in 'Darklight film festival' in Ireland and 'Art Expo' in Lithuania.
